The Apollo Bay Museum is housed in the buildings from which the submarine cable connected Tasmania to the mainland.
It includes exhibits of relics from shipwrecks and ships that were the main access routes before the opening of the Great Ocean Road. It also has a wide range of stories from the people who created and nurtured this remote community chronicled in a number of small publications.... .
