Gin and Whiskey lovers assemble! Fremantle Markets is hosting Fremantle’s very own ‘WA Distillers Takeover’ this month from Friday August 28 to Sunday August 30.

10 local WA distilleries will be setting up shop within the markets, showcasing their best spirits for locals and visitors alike to enjoy. Beginning on the Friday, whiskey and gin lovers can learn more about their favourite drinks from the experts, whilst discovering fantastic new favourites and sipping the day away with a whole range of free samples!

The local distilleries include Whipper Snapper Distillery, Wandering Distillery, Old Young’s Distillery, OMG Distillery, West Winds Gin and Sin Gin.

The popularity of spirits has skyrocketed in recent times thanks to their versatility – whether enjoyed as part of a tasty cocktail or consumed by themselves, the WA Distillers Takeover will show off the best spirits WA has to offer. Grab your friends and make a day of it, exploring the rest of the iconic markets, open 9am to 6pm Friday to Sunday.
