Taste Great Southern is back, bigger and better than ever, marking its 20th anniversary with an extraordinary lineup of culinary celebrations. From May 2nd to 12th, immerse yourself in the diverse flavours and exquisite wines of Western Australia across Albany, Denmark, Mt Barker, Frankland River, Prongurup, and Katanning.

Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply curious about local flavours, there's something for everyone during this 11-day extravaganza. Featured events include Shane Osborn’s Taste Teasing Great Southern Dinner, Great Southern Cellar Door Presented by Mt Barker Chicken, Test Your Soul and Limeburners Feast at The Premier Mill Hotel, along with 35 other food and wine events. Shane Osborn’s Taste Teasing Great Southern Dinner

Renowned chef Shane Osborn, from Arcane Restaurant in Hong Kong, will create an exclusive dinner in Perth city, collaborating with Enoteca Centro's chef Michael Ingham. Guests will indulge in oysters and sparkling wine upon arrival, followed by a delicious three-course dinner paired with exceptional Great Southern Wines selected by Master of Wine Brendan Jansen.

Great Southern Cellar Door Presented by Mt Barker Chicken

Celebrate the world-class selection of Great Southern region wines, spirits, beers, local food, and more at Eyre Park! With activities like the Lakeside Bar, Barrel Sessions, Cellar Pairings, live music, and tastings, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Sample over 100 Great Southern wines from top wineries, indulge in the local food trucks, and groove to the live music!

Djeran Celebration with Fervor

The Djeran Celebration returns for the second year, promoting the local cultures of the Menang, Koreng and Pibelman people of the Great Southern. Experience a Welcome to Country & join in the smoking ceremony, followed by a unique foraging talk led by Kurrah Mia.

Then sit back and enjoy a lunch curated by Paul Iskov from Fervor, the canapes and three-course lunch will explore the foods available in the Djeran season.

Women of the Region Luncheon

Embrace a day of celebration and appreciation for the incredible women in the region amongst the amazing surrounds of The Gardens at Bullimah! The experience begins with a delicious welcome cocktail, setting the tone for an extraordinary day of indulgence.

Renowned local Chef, Sally Francis and Perth Chef, Sophie Budd, will amaze you in a culinary experience, with canapes and a seated lunch, each dish crafted to showcase the best of the Great Southern’s produce. Paired with selected wines, this culinary adventure will captivate your taste buds. Gather your friends, dress up and treat yourself to a wine and food extravaganza, whether you are a connoisseur or simply looking to revel in the company of friends, this event promises to be a feast for the senses. Bus transfers to and from the venue are also available!
