Designed and manufactured in Austria to meet safety and comfort standards, this chairlift takes passengers on a leisurely five-minute ascent to an altitude of 95 meters over a distance of 250 meters. Upon reaching the peak, visitors can explore the incredible plateau and enjoy breathtaking views of Stanley and the surrounding areas.

There is a circular walking track around the summit, measuring approximately two kilometers, with several viewing platforms for panoramic views. The area also offers bathroom facilities, disability access, and picnic areas with gas barbeques.

Additionally, there is a friendly café for visitors looking for a warm bite to eat and a great coffee. The Nut Chairlift is open throughout the year, except on Christmas Day, and operates from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm daily, with the last ride departing at 4:15 pm.

It is conveniently located on Church Street in Stanley, easily accessible by car or on foot. For safety reasons, visitors with minors are advised to supervise them at all times on The Nut summit, and pets are not allowed.
