Second Valley is accessible by car and is a short distance from Adelaide. Travelers can follow the Southern Expressway, then the Main South Road, before turning off at Myponga.

From there, it is a scenic drive through rural farmlands and small towns to reach Second Valley. Parking is available at the beach carpark.
