The pontoon also provides glass-bottom boat tours, allowing visitors to see the colorful marine life from above. The best time to visit the Great Barrier Reef, including Hardy Reef, is between April and November, during the dry season.

During this time, the water is clear and calm, providing excellent visibility for snorkeling, diving, and fish spotting. The Hardy Reef is accessible via Airlie Beach, where various boat tours and charters operate daily.

Visitors can book day tours or extended trips, including accommodation on the pontoon. Additionally, regular flights operate from major capitals of Australia, including Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, to the Whitsunday Coast Airport in Proserpine, which is about 25 km from Airlie Beach.
