The Wentworth Falls Picnic area and The Valley of the Waters are connected by walking tracks at different levels on the escarpment, providing breathtaking views of waterfalls and the valley below. The winter months (July and August) can be cold, with occasional snowfalls.

To start the trail, head west of Katoomba to the intersection of Valley Road and Bathurst Road. The trail is 36 kilometers one way to Wentworth Falls and takes about one hour, plus stops, all on sealed suburban roads.

The Blue Mountains Visitor Information Centre at Echo Point is open seven days a week from 9 am to 4 pm and can provide assistance with information for this trail.
