Ferguson Conservation Park is a things to do venue in Adelaide, South Australia.

It covers a land area in section 687 of the Hundred of Adelaide. The park is bounded by St Peter’s Collegiate Girls’ School to the northwest, a private residence to the east, Stonyfell Road to the northeast, Marble Terrace to the south, and Hallett Road to the west.

The park has an interesting history. It was initially donated to the Government of South Australia in 1949 by Alice Effie Ferguson, who wanted the land to be dedicated as a national pleasure resort for the public.

It was managed by the South Australian Government Tourist Bureau until 1972, when it was rededicated as the Ferguson Recreation Park. It was then re-constituted as a conservation park in 1977.

Ferguson Conservation Park is now part of a larger area that includes St Peter’s Collegiate Girls’ School. It is classified as an IUCN Category III protected area and was listed on the former Register of the National Estate in 1980.

The park is a popular destination for nature lovers. Visitors can enjoy hiking, birdwatching, and picnicking amidst lush greenery.

The park is open year-round and entry is free. There are several walking trails and visitors are also welcome to bring their bicycles.

Wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate the variety of wildlife in the park, including koalas, kangaroos, and various bird species.
