The Bundian Way Story Trail offers a glimpse into Aboriginal heritage and history, with a 1.8-kilometre walk through coastal bushland and access to secluded beaches. Bungo Beach is roughly halfway along this trail.

If you prefer driving, you can turn off the Princes Highway onto Quarantine Bay Road and follow an unmarked dirt road to a small car park. At Bungo Beach, you can relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.

The beach is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and picnics with family and friends. It is also a great spot for dog owners, as dogs are allowed off-leash all year round.

While there are no facilities at the beach, you can appreciate the expansive views of Twofold Bay, one of the deepest natural harbours in the southern hemisphere. Bungo Beach can be visited throughout the year, but the best time to go is during the summer months for warm and sunny weather.
