The trail begins at the bottom of Imlay Street near Snug Cove, and with specially designed signage, you will learn about the Whale Dreaming Trail while admiring the fantastic view over Turemulerrer (Twofold Bay), where the Katungal people would welcome the killer whales.

The Whale Dreaming Trail is a fascinating experience that requires approximately 30-40 minutes to complete. As you walk up towards the lookout over Twofold Bay, you will notice the well-maintained native gardens along the way.

The view from the lookout shows the coastal gateway to the Bundian Way and is an excellent spot to relax and admire the serene beauty of the ocean. When you’re ready, you can return to the start point and continue towards the Eden Killer Whale Museum, or you can choose to follow the path towards the museum and eventually arrive back at the starting point.

The trail is accessible from either end. The best times to explore the Whale Dreaming Trail are from December to February during the summer season, where the temperature averages at 27°C.
