The best time to visit is during the summer season when the weather is dry and perfect for bike riding. The forest is located on Mowen Road, Margaret River, and is easily accessible from Perth, which is around 3 hours and 20 minutes’ drive away.

Once in Margaret River Town, it is a short drive to the forest. Visitors are advised to park along Mowen Road at the designated car park beside the forest
