Divers at Bald Rock can explore gutters, ledges, and small caves, and the site boasts a diverse range of coral species, with approximately 47 different types. Hard corals, gorgonians, spikey soft corals, and sponges are abundant.

The site offers opportunities to spot various marine creatures, including nudibranchs, cuttlefish, octopus, and a variety of fish species. Larger species such as wobbegongs, stingrays, and batfish can also be seen.

Underwater photographers will find endless opportunities to capture the vibrant colors of Spanish dancers and sea slugs. During this period, water temperatures range from 22°C to 27°C, and visibility typically spans 10 to 20 meters.

Diving is not recommended during the monsoon season from December to April. To reach Bald Rock Dive Site, visitors must take a boat.

Ferries from Rosslyn Bay Harbour transport visitors to the Keppel Island Group, where they can then access the dive site via a charter boat. It is important to book ahead with certified dive operators before traveling to Keppel Island.
