Gas is kindly supplied by Parks and Wildlife. Allports Beach is a beautiful, slightly curving 150 m long reflective beach, bordered by dune-capped granite points.

The eastern end of the beach has some boulders outcropping, and seagrass meadows grow 100 m offshore. The beach is relatively steep, making it ideal for swimming and snorkelling around the rocks.

The area is perfect for picnics with family and friends. The facilities provided make it easy for visitors to have a good time and enjoy the scenic views of the beach.

The caravan park is a short walk from the picnic area; it is ideal for those who wish to spend more than a day on the beach. Allports Beach Picnic Area is an all-year-round destination.
