Spring has well and truly sprung thanks to Myer’s Fashion Runway event at Telstra Perth Fashion Festival last Thursday.
Guests were treated to a sparkling wine tower, sumptuous grazing table and a gift box of high end products to celebrate spring’s must-have pieces as part of this year’s hottest fashion event.

The show itself featured Myer Ambassador Kris Smith, and designs hitting the runway came from some of Australia’s most outstanding designers and labels including Morrison; sass & bide; Acier; Yeojin Bae; Asilio; Elliatt; Misha Collection; Mossman; We are Kindred; Cue; Seed; and Aquila.

This season Morrison stayed true to its perfect juxtaposition of relaxed and sophisticated style with impeccably cut oversized pieces in beautiful fabrics. Sass & bide’s offering was simply jaw-dropping with the ‘Empress Okura’ collection featuring some stunningly sexy suits finished with the label’s trademark statement underwear-as-outerwear and draped gold hardware.

Staple brand Cue delivered an outstanding drop with sophisticated florals on beautifully cut pieces, while Elliatt’s ‘Renaissance’ collection played with texture; mixing mesh with intricate floral detailing to produce some of spring’s most covetable pieces.

Telstra Perth Fashion Festival runs until September 17. Find out more.
