Description

Greens Bush is the largest remnant of National Park bushland on the Mornington Peninsula, situated between Arthurs Seat and Cape Schanck.

It is surrounded by farmland and offers a diverse range of flora and fauna, making it a popular destination for nature lovers. The park features multiple arrow marked public walking tracks that allow visitors to explore and observe the plants and animals that call Greens Bush home.

One of the highlights of Greens Bush is the opportunity to see Eastern Grey Kangaroos and koalas, which are most active at dawn and dusk. While many of the park's mammals are nocturnal, visitors can still enjoy observing them along the walking tracks.

There are several walking tracks available for visitors to explore the park's diversity. The Wildflower Track is a 1.2-kilometer return walk that showcases stunning wildflowers during spring and summer. It takes you through woodlands, grassy meadows, and heathy vegetation. The Stringybark Track is a 3.2-kilometer circuit walk that passes through beautiful eucalypt woodlands, heathy vegetation, and a seasonal creek. For experienced hikers, the Greens Bush-Sheoak Falls Circuit is a 17-kilometer circuit walk that combines the Greens Bush nature walk with the Sheoak Falls Walk. This challenging hike takes you through a hidden waterfall, creek, dense woodlands, heaths, and wildflower meadows.

Greens Bush is accessible year-round, but the best time to visit is in spring (September-November) when the wildflowers are in bloom and the park is at its most colorful.

To reach Greens Bush, visitors can take the Peninsula Link to Mornington Peninsula, exit at Dromana
