Cape Otway Lighthouse, also known as the Beacon of Hope, is the oldest existing lighthouse on the mainland of Australia, and it is considered the most significant.

The lighthouse, built-in 1848 and sitting 90 meters above the ocean of Bass Strait, offers incredible views and exciting history. Located on Cape Otway on the Great Ocean Road, it is a must-visit for all travelers.

The Cape Otway lighthouse is usually open every day of the year from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm.
