Art Galleries in Strathbogie Region

The Strathbogie Region in Victoria is known for its diverse art galleries and cultural attractions. One standout venue is the Mitchelton Gallery of Aboriginal Art, which features a collection of Aboriginal artwork and operates on Mondays.

Euroa, a picturesque heritage town situated at the foot of the Strathbogie Ranges, is home to the Euroa Arboretum. This site includes indigenous gardens, a sculpture walk, and a popular picnic and swimming area at Polly McQuinns.

The Strathbogie Shire Council has launched ARTBOX, a unique mobile exhibition space that showcases professional and emerging artists and makers. ARTBOX travels around the region, accepting proposals from various art forms and groups, with scheduled stops in Euroa, Avenel, Nagambie, Strathbogie, Violet Town, and Ruffy.

Nomad Art Collections, an art gallery and workshop originally from Darwin, has relocated to Euroa and expanded its presence with a new gallery opening in Avenel.
