Art Galleries in Shire of Laverton

The Shire of Laverton in Western Australia is home to the Laverton Outback Gallery, showcasing local art by the Wongi people from the North Eastern Goldfields and Western Desert region. Established in 2002, the gallery is operated by a not-for-profit organization and open from Monday to Friday.

Visitors can explore a diverse collection of artworks, including paintings, digging sticks, carvings, weavings, and crafts created by artists from the surrounding regions, such as the Ngaanyatjarra Lands. Additionally, the gallery features and offers for sale art and craft items made by local Wongatha people, wooden artifacts, and boomerangs.
