Wineries in Glenelg Region

Victoria is a major wine producer in Australia, covering approximately 90,000 square miles and hosting more than 20 wine regions. Two primary categories exist within Victoria: warm-climate regions, which produce unique fortified wines and powerful reds, and cool-climate regions, where elegant Chardonnay, intensely flavorful Pinot Noir, and enchanting voluptuous Shiraz thrive. One of the most prominent wine regions in Victoria is the Yarra Valley, known for its cool climate and producing some of Australia's most elegant and refined wines, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Shiraz. The Yarra Valley's cool climate results in wines with higher acidity levels and bright, refreshing tastes, making them ideal for food pairings.

Another notable wine region is the Mornington Peninsula, located south of Melbourne.
