See the dance students of WAAPA soar in their final season for the year. VERGE is a dance spectacular performed by second and third-year students that you won't want to miss. Only from November 10-16 at the Geoff Gibbs Theatre.

WAAPA welcomes back acclaimed French choreographer Didier Théron, following previous collaborations on _Harakiri_ and _Shanghai Bolero_, to choreograph his 2022 work, _Atalantas_. Drawing inspiration from the fleet-footed huntress Atalanta of Greek mythology, this piece presents a cast of warrior women who fight for their future, their place as women and their freedom.

The second contemporary dance piece on the Verge program has been choreographed by Melbourne/Naarm-based performer, choreographer and teacher Deanne Butterworth.
