The River Room’s focus is to provide professional, friendly, quality service for weddings, special events and corporate functions in a stunning riverfront location.
Launched in March 2014, The River Room is located within the Nedlands Rugby Union Club, metres from the Swan River and adjacent to the Nedlands public jetty.
The River Room offers a spacious, modern and bright venue that opens out to a semi-covered alfresco area adjoining lush green fields. The adjoining Charles Court Reserve is also available for ceremonies or larger events.
Whether you are relaxing over pre-dinner drinks, awaiting the arrival of the bridal party, or simply sipping champagne at a family celebration or corporate event, the views are breathtaking.
The River Room can accommodate up to 180 guests for cocktail-style gatherings, up to 100 guests seated for weddings and a la carte dining, and up to 80 people for training seminars, meetings and other corporate requirements.
The alfresco terrace opens from the main room overlooking the reserve, providing flexibility for outdoor activities and larger functions, such as Christmas parties, of up to 400 people. The facilities also have modern showers and change rooms, which can be accessed if required.
River Rugby Caterers has more than 40 years' combined experience and is well equipped to take care of all of your catering requirements. The team can customise menus for all occasions and budgets, from formal sit-down meals to cocktail parties. All menus are modern, vibrant and five-star, and tailored to all dietary requirements.
The River Room offers full bar facilities, with a comprehensive selection of premium beers, wines, and spirits at reasonable prices.
Ensuring every aspect of your event is catered for, a full audiovisual system – with drop-down screen, projector, microphones, podium, stage, speaker system and dimmable lighting – is included with the room hire.
