One of the park’s highlights is its unique flora and fauna. Visitors can encounter various plant species such as dry vine thicket, mangroves, open forests with a grasstree understorey, paperbark, and pandanus woodlands.

Birdwatchers will be delighted to know that the park is home to two mound-building birds, the Australian brush-turkey and the orange-footed scrubfowl. Other interesting species like wallabies, goannas, and bandicoots can also be spotted within the park.

With an average elevation of 44 meters, visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding tropical rainforest. It is advisable to bring insect repellent and wear suitable clothing for bushwalking when visiting the park.
