The property is known for its growing orchard trees, including figs, pomegranates, almonds, apples, feijoa, hazelnuts, peaches, nectarines, and plums. Bannockburn is famous for its viticulture, with many wineries offering exceptional hospitality.

Several wineries are within a short drive, bike ride, or walk from the property, and the hosts are happy to share their favorite winery experiences with guests. Bannockburn House offers rooms with flat-screen TVs, couches or leather chairs for relaxation, and private bathrooms with free toiletries and a hairdryer.

Luggage storage space is also provided. The cottage is spacious and comfortable, and the hosts, Julia and Chris, are known for their helpfulness and knowledge about the area.
