The Margaret River Chocolate Company is one of Western Australia’s most popular tourist attractions, with manufacturing and sales facilities in both the Swan Valley and Margaret River wine regions. In March 2012 the company also opened a brand new store in the heart of Perth with sister company Margaret River Providore.

With free entry, free chocolate tastings and viewing windows at the two factories to see the chocolate products being made, The Margaret River Chocolate Company provides a fascinating insight into the world of chocolate. Mouth-watering products, information and merchandise are available on all aspects of chocolate, with the company’s wide range of chocolate goodies including chocolate bars, chocolate coated delights, hand made truffles, novelty chocolates, chocolate sauces, icecreams, chocolate milk and a variety of chocolate cakes and desserts.

The Chocolate Factory Café is an ideal place for an indulgent treat or light lunch, with both indoor and outdoor dining and a delightful range of desserts, chocolate fondues, coffee, decadent cakes, milkshakes and other chocolate inspired gourmet delights. From its humble beginnings in 1999, The Margaret River Chocolate Company has always been committed to quality and its chocolate products consistently win awards in competitions throughout Australia.

It is consistently the most highly awarded chocolate company at the Perth Royal Show and has also won awards at similar shows in Sydney and Melbourne. The two factories produce a tantalising range of gourmet chocolates, sauces, fudges, massage oils, Rocky Road and award-winning Giant Freckles, as well as specialty chocolates, lollies and cocoa powders.

The company also hand-makes more than 20 individual truffles, ranging from traditional favourites like Caramel Royal and Fine Champagne, through to fresh blueberry, raspberry and banana truffles. Australia’s then Prime Minister John Howard referred to The Margaret River Chocolate Company as a gold medal business, when he officially opened the Swan Valley factory in 2001.

Since then the company has won countless awards and was the only privately-owned business recognised as a West Australian Icon in a special edition of the internationally best-selling board game, Monopoly. The Margaret River Chocolate Company welcomes visitors of all ages with friendly staff, fantastic products, plenty of parking and a welcoming, fully-airconditioned environment.
