The water temperature is ideal for swimming, and the weather conditions are perfect for outdoor activities. To get to Captains Beach, drive to Booderee National Park, which is about a two-hour drive from Sydney and 25 minutes from Nowra.

From there, follow the signs to Jervis Bay and Booderee National Park. The beach is accessible by foot from Iluka Beach, which is a 30-minute walk from the parking area.
