Beares Beach can be enjoyed at any time of the year, but it is best to visit during the warmer months (December to February) when water temperatures are at their warmest for swimming. Surfers, on the other hand, tend to prefer the winters (June to August) when the swell is larger.

To get to Beares Beach, visitors can drive to the beach and utilize the free parking area available nearby. Access to the beach is via a walking trail or stairway from the parking area.
