John's career began in 1982 in Yallingup, Western Australia. He spent 6 years working for a local furniture maker establishing the skills that I have developed over the following 28 years as a designer maker.
In 1988 he built his own workshop and gallery in Yallingup, where he still resides and works to this day. John Streater will be participating in the 2021 Margaret River Region Open Studios.
