In addition to Sleepy Bay, visitors can explore other attractions in Coles Bay such as Wineglass Bay Lookout Track, Freycinet Marine Farm, Honeymoon Bay, Mount Amos hike, Cape Tourville Lighthouse, and Hazards Beach Circuit. There are also tours available that depart from Hobart for those who want to explore more of Tasmania’s wilderness coast-to-coast.

Freycinet National Park is a year-round destination with a mild climate. Spring (September-November) is an excellent time to visit Freycinet as the weather is pleasant, and there are fewer crowds.

The coastal woodlands are beautiful in spring when colorful wildflowers blossom and release gorgeous floral aromas in the air.
