It’s the first weekend of the Christmas advent and we’ve selected 5 family-friendly events in WA, to get your festive juices flowing!

Santa’s Enchanted Wardrobe

Opens at 8.30 am with last groups entering at 4.30 pm.

Dec 1-24, Claremount Showgrounds

Santa’s Enchanted Wardrobe is Perth’s only immersive Christmas attraction which allows your whole family to be part of the story. Enter an enchanting world, filled with fresh pine Christmas trees, falling snow and the call of adventure deep in the forest. Wonderful creatures await to help (or hinder) you on your epic adventure to meet Santa. Must-visit attractions include; Underground homes, beaver tunnels, enchanted forests, elves toy shops, and of course Santa Claus himself!

RAC Christmas Pageant

Starting 7.30pm

Sat Dec 1, St Georges Terrace

Managed by Channel 7 and sponsored by RAC since 1998, the RAC Christmas Pageant brings the magic of Christmas to the city of Perth each year. See the floats light up; lots of Channel Seven personalities and all the dance groups, bands, cultural groups, clowns and circus acts spreading the Christmas cheer throughout St Georges Terrace.

Aveley Carols By Candlelight

5.30pm to 9.00pm

Dec 1, Aveley Playing Fields

The Lions Club of Ellenbrook invite you and your family to the 2018 Aveley Carols by Candlelight. Bring a picnic blanket and join in a magical evening of Christmas festivities! Indulge in the food truck fare, take a trip on the Lion’s train amongst other festive family activities. There will be performances from local schools, choirs and dance groups all singing your favourite sing-along carols. There’ll also be a special visit from a white bearded man in the red suit!

Kids Christmas Party

2pm to 4pm

Dec 1, Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre

Brace yourself Broome Kids! This Christmas themed event is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit. Expect heaps of pool fun, Bouncey castle, face painting, entertainment by Wanna Play & Special Guests, FREE sausage sizzle, fairy floss & popcorn, interactive circus, gladiator ring and more. Christmas has come early!

Carols by Candlelight at Lakelands

5.00pm to 8.00pm

Dec 1, Lakelands Town Square

The whole community is invited to the Lakelands Town Square to celebrate Christmas and join in on the free, family-friendly fun. As well as live Christmas carols from an array of different local choirs and musical groups, attendees can enjoy food trucks, twilight handmade market stalls and Christmas crafts. Guests are invited to bring along picnic blankets and chairs to join in on a night filled with carols and Christmas cheer.
