So if you share his love of the sea or just want to see something different, call in, you’re welcome at Willyabrup Dreaming.

Endlessly inspired by the intricacies of nature; I particularly love the play of light on water and the patterns it creates

Description

Most of my work is created from fine porcelain, which is formed into simple shapes using a pottery wheel. I then carve, etch, paint and draw into the surface of the clay to create detailed designs and patterns.

I love the unlimited possibilities and challenges of working with clay.

Description

Art is forever an evolving and changing journey. For me art is a way to communicate to the inner world. It can inspire the senses, stir emotion and allow healing and personal growth.

An image, can tell a different story for each observer and something as simple as drinking from a handmade cup, can bring forward feelings of warmth and nurture.

Pauline Alferink

I really enjoy the tactile and earthly nature of clay and creating pieces that are both colourful and functional
