New Ian Daniell Art Studio & Gallery opens Friday 29 March 2024.
His practice, Life-Size Ocean Art, is a celebration of marine life and an ode to encounters in the wild. Iconic marine species painted in emblematic form and bright block colours, at 1:1 scale.
The artworks are also available in the form of limited edition fine art prints. Each print is signed by the artist and annotated with a percentage, noting the print size in relation to the life-size original.
1% of all sales are donated to help protect 30X30: 30% of world oceans by 2030.
British artist Ian Daniell has lived and worked in the Margaret River Region of Western Australia since 2019, showing extensively both locally and in the state capital, Perth, during subsequent years.
