Fraser Gallop Estate Friday Long Lunch (expired event)

After three years at Rene Redzepi’s world-renowned Noma, Hugh Allen is back on Australian soil and wowing diners at Melbourne’s Vue de Monde.

Who says youth is wasted on the young? Despite being just 24 years of age, Hugh Allen has squeezed plenty into his career, not least spending three years at Rene Redzepi’s multiple World’s Best Restaurant winner, Noma. As head chef of Vue de Monde, he’s taken everything he’s learned in Copenhagen and applied it to Australian food culture and ingredients. This November, it’s Margaret River’s chance to clock one of the country’s hottest rising talents when the spectacular Fraser Gallop Estate private residence opens its lawns for a Friday lunch with a difference.

In addition to the spectacular setting, forward-thinking food and matched estate wines, respected international drinks journalist Mike Bennie will host the lunch, discussing the paired wines from Fraser Gallop Estate whilst delving into the winery’s status as one of Margaret River major players.
