The clients removed the standard kitchen from their building plans in favour of a custom-designed kitchen with high benchtops and easy storage. They envisaged a decluttered look, with flair and stunning appeal.
CaesarStone benchtops in Ice Snow were installed for a clean look, while accent lighting beneath the overhead cabinets enhances them.
A central island with an undermount sink makes for open-plan living, where the owner can view the alfresco and pool areas while interacting with those in the family and dining spaces.
Laminex gloss white painted doors are enhanced by the natural light and give the kitchen a contemporary look, while horizontal feature tiling adds a warm splash of colour.
Hettich’s InnoTech soft-close technology is used in the 17 drawers, which provide plenty of storage.
The kitchen easily transforms into a space for entertaining thanks to two pairs of bi-fold doors, which hide appliances from view, and a wine rack which has been built in to one of the cabinets. As well as providing maximum functionality, it allows the owner to cook and socialise in the one space.
