Launched in March 2014, The River Room sits within the Nedlands Rugby Union Club, just ten metres from the Swan River, adjacent to the Nedlands public jetty.
Operated by experienced chefs, The River Room offers a stunning location for weddings and corporate or private functions, with the adjoining Charles Court Reserve also available for ceremonies or larger events.
The interior of the venue boasts a modern, bright room with high ceilings, and views of the river and grounds, as well as sporting memorabilia that can be covered at the flick of a switch by drop-down electric blinds, creating a versatile room suitable for all manner of events. With the adjacent alfresco verandah overlooking the Reserve, it offers flexibility for various outdoor activities, along with modern showers and change rooms if required.
The beautiful setting can accommodate 40 to 100 guests for weddings, sit-down
dinners or casual gatherings, up to 80 people for training seminars, and up to 180 guests for cocktail-style events.
Larger corporate functions, such as Christmas parties, are catered for with ease, utilising the adjoining Reserve to cater for up to 400 people.
The River Room offers a wide range of menus to suit every occasion, with Modern Australian cuisine, premium beers, wines, and spirits at reasonable prices.
Ensuring every aspect of your event is cared for, a full audio-visual system with drop-down screen, projector, microphones, podium, stage, speaker system and dimmable lighting is all part of the room hire.
