Step inside and be transported back in time with one of the Prison’s fascinating tours. Choose from the following: Doing Time; Great Escapes; Tunnels; or Torchlight.
For a more formal style of function, the Main Cell Block features four storeys of prison cells that are divided into four divisions, while the Commissariat consists of two stylish underground rooms with thick limestone walls – the perfect setting for cocktail parties.
Large double doors between each division mean the space can be tailored to suit your group size, making it ideal for themed events.
Originally built for inmates’ activities and as a training ground for unskilled prisoners, the East Workshops are perfect for presentations, award nights and formal dinners.
Visit the Crown Theatre, Prison Yards, Gatehouse and two Chapels, or explore the tunnels 20m below the Prison on foot and by boat.
The onsite Convict Cafe can provide lunch in the Special Handling Unit Meeting Room for a day to remember, while a fantastic range of merchandise available from the Prison’s Gift Shop means guests will cherish their memento of your unique prison function.
