Renowned Subiaco fashion designer Tatiana Shkurenko has created a linen bridal collection, including boho-style wedding jumpsuits and dresses, a comfortable and unique alternative to traditional wedding dresses.

Launching the range in November of 2020, Tatiana’s Toujour Linen Bridal Collection is available for viewing at her Subiaco studio and through her website. Tatiana’s Fashion Studio on Rokeby Road is open on Saturdays to the public, or by appointment during the week. You’ll be able to view a sample from each design, and if you decide you’d like one of these gorgeous wedding jumpsuits or dresses for your special day, Tatiana will custom-make it for you.

Although hidden away from the public eye, clients continue to roll in, with most of them hearing about her business through word-of-mouth. Well established after 10 year’s experience in the Perth fashion scene, Tatiana brought fashion designer Poppy Lissiman's two iconic embroidered cotton wedding dresses to life, has worked with evening and resort wear designer Natalie Rolt, and made designer Jonté Morgan’s self-designed wedding dress. Tatiana even made the patterns for Ruth Tarvydas’ last Paris Fashion Week collection back in 2014.

If you’re not in the market for wedding attire, Tatiana can custom design just about anything including sportswear, lingerie, gowns and leather garments and is happy to work from a photograph or sketch. Opening up shop earlier this year, Tatiana decided to establish her custom designer business Couture Atelie after her usual work as a pattern and sample maker for designers was put on hold due to the pandemic.

Tatiana grew up in Russia, where she had her own fashion studio and learnt her trade. She’s always had a love for fashion and has been designing and sewing since the age of five. She has now been in Perth for 15 years, and has helped many budding designers start up their own labels.
