Let’s celebrate the week that was by bringing a picnic to Celebrity Tree Park to enjoy some free family time with entertainment, food vendors and the extremely popular Argyle Diamond Dig.

Offering fun for all ages, the Closing Ceremony will kick off with the Argyle Diamond Dig. The Kimberley is as famous for its diamonds as it is for its landscape and these precious stones are coveted by many and found by few!  The Argyle Diamond Dig is the one opportunity during the year when everyone has a fair chance of finding a special gem, or one of a host of other treasures that are secretly buried under a tonne of sand brought in to create a make-shift diamond pit.

Get in early to purchase your Miner’s Rights – you won’t want to miss this dig with thousands of dollars worth of diamonds, tours and knick-knacks up for grabs!

Following the dig, kick back and relax as you enjoy the entertainment from the lawn.  There will also be free kids activities including face painting, bouncy castles and much, much more.

The Ord Valley Muster Closing Ceremony is a FREE event.

Please note that all children MUST be supervised by an adult, and the licensed area is reserved for 18+.

Food & Drink

The licensed Hoochery Saloon will again be open for business with a selection of beer, wine, and spirits, and there will also be a range of local and well-known food vendors to tantalise your tastebuds.

Getting There

For many, it’ll be a short stroll to the park as it’s located approximately 850m from the centre of town, and a similar distance from Lakeside. Shuttle buses will be in operation, and details will be advised closer to the date.
