The Gippsland Plains Scenic Drive is a picturesque and historic drive that takes you through small townships and showcases different attractions. Taste the 5-star wines at the Narkoojee Winery and take a bottle of your favourite with you to complete your road trip. Make a stop at the Glengarry Hotel for a refreshing ale. Heyfield is a picturesque town servicing timber and dairy industries, where you can admire the Mechanics Institute Hall or the Ned Stringers Memorial. Tinamba, on the other hand, is home to the Tinamba Food and Wine Festival that occurs annually in April. Maffra is the largest town on this drive and provides an excellent opportunity to park your car and take a stroll through the main street, browse local shops and cafes. Make a visit to the Maffra Courthouse to view its gemstone and mineral collection. The Gippsland Vehicle Collection is also a great place to explore an extensive range of vintage cars. When you arrive at Cowwarr, be sure to keep an eye out for the colourful and charming cows that add to its beauty. The Cowwarr Weir also provides a perfect setting for a picnic or a spot for swimming or canoeing. You can explore the Gippsland Plains Scenic Drive all year round, but the scenic drive during autumn is particularly beautiful with the leaves changing. The drive
