Ocean Grove Main Beach

Ocean Grove Main Beach is a family-friendly surf beach located in the center of a two-kilometer stretch of beach.

It extends from Point Lonsdale to the mouth of Barwon River and is known for its amenities, surf patrol, and perfect conditions. The beach offers an array of activities, including ocean swimming, surfing, skateboarding, and walking. It also has complete facilities such as public toilets, showers, a boat ramp, and nearby free parking. Visitors with dogs can still enjoy the beach, but restrictions apply. The peak season is during the summer months, but for fewer crowds, it's best to visit outside of this period. To get there, it's an hour and twenty-minute drive from Melbourne or buses are available from the Geelong Train Station.
