Description
Silvana is a glass artist, creating fused glass pieces in her studio in the hills.
Silvana has a passion for glass developed over the years. Her creativity is drawn from life’s experiences involving natural chronological stages, wins, and challenges always viewed from a glass, not half full but spilling over the brim. She uses a range of techniques that she learned and developed, often making use of the movement from the fluidity of the glass when it is hot, giving her work a painterly feel. Her inspiration comes from experiences particularly as a subsea engineer and scuba diver, memories of when she was young and her surroundings in the hills.
Her work is represented throughout WA and has won several awards. Each piece encompasses a story of a life that when you acquire, you inherit or you can commence your own story around its beauty.
