Kingsley Grove is a family owned and operated business, established in 1998 by Michael and Patricia Berry.
The vineyard lies within the South Burnett Region of Queensland near to the regional town of Kingaroy, which is approximately 2 1/2 hours’ drive from Brisbane. More recently Kingaroy has gained recognition as the second largest wine region in Queensland.
They grow a wide selection of grape varieties including 4 red and 5 white. From these they have produced award winning wines and continue to innovate and develop their range which includes straight varietals, blends, sparkling wines and a selection of fortified wines.
Kingsley Grove’s cellar door is open for wine tasting 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm. During weekends and public holidays food is served in the cellar door between 11am and 3pm. The menu is based around their famous wood-fired pizzas but includes a number of seasonal dishes and of course their wine ice cream.
Tours of the working winery are often available by the winemaker and they welcome groups, providing a unique venue for parties and an idyllic setting for weddings. Free caravan parking is also available for up to 48 hours stays.
