The Sydney Tramway Museum, situated at Loftus in the southern suburbs of Sydney, provides a nostalgic and educational insight into public transportation in Sydney during the period of tramway operation. The museum houses an extensive collection of Sydney trams from 1896 to 1952, as well as trams from other cities such as Brisbane, Melbourne, Ballarat, Adelaide, San Francisco, Nagasaki, Berlin, Munich, and Milan.
