Perth Jazz Society presents a Double Bill of original jazz, featuring stellar local musicians. She is inspired by a diverse range of artists, from jazz luminaries Blossom Dearie, Ella Fitzgerald and Gian Slater to folk-jazz artists such as Christine Tobin and Becca Stevens. From the folk songs of Ireland and Scotland to American styles like bebop, blues, and big band swing, she finds the common heart in their powerful story-telling traditions. Join her in celebrating the sweet spot where two much loved musical genres meet. RUBACLAVA Rubaclava is a Perth-based band with a vision of bringing the infectious energy of a swingin’ big band to contemporary audiences.
