Founded in 2004, ABBIX Industries is a Perth-based designer and manufacturer of Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP). This product is structurally stronger than steel and lighter than aluminium.
ABBIX Industries uses this creation to manufacture Diamond Deck, a unique alfresco flooring material.
These decking 'boards' can span a massive 900mm between joists, compared to 400 to 450mm for traditional wood and composite decks, resulting in large savings of materials and labour.
It is maintenance-free, so never needs to be oiled or painted, and is also UV-stable. Fats and oils from barbecues can be simply wiped away with detergent and water.
Diamond Deck is comfortable to walk on and looks fantastic, with traditional timber colours and a wide range of fresh colour ideas that will complement your decor.
Unlike traditional timber decking, Diamond Deck is 100 per cent waterproof so can be installed at ground level on soil, sand, concrete or brick.
This makes it ideal for installation around a pool because it won't warp, and harsh chemicals and acid will not affect it.
