Over the years, the venue has served as a summer resort and picnic area on Como Beach, a roller-skating rink, and tearooms. During World War II, the Pagoda was even used to accommodate soldiers. In 2012, the Pagoda became part of the Pagoda Resort & Spa and Narada Hospitality Group.
