Description

For just over six weeks, the corner of Rokeby Road and Churchill Avenue will be transformed into a vibrant, community piazza! Pop-in anytime, explore the space, connect with friends and join in one fo the many activities programmed, including: Acoustic music sessions - Uncover incredible local musicians during select lunchtime and afternoon music sessions Family mini golf - Tee-up with family and friends at our pop-up mini golf Light projections - Be mesmerised by our dancing display of lights projected on the stunning heritage building on Churchill Avenue Garden workshops - Join us for an afternoon of herb and floral gardening, providing a sanctuary for worker (and honey) bees within the City Community art project - You're invited to decorate, paint and leave your mark on our pop-up canvas bringing a pop of colour and vibrancy to the town centre Health and fitness - Spin classes, yoga, pilates and healthy smoothies, join in a range of activities centred around health and wellbeing Creative workshops - Let your creativity soar with a range of craft activities, from flower-crown making to painting ceramic workshops

Evenings Of Life Drawing

Nude life drawing for all levels of artists in a relaxed environment.

Description

$20 entry fee includes all art materials (paper, drawing board, charcoals) and a complimentary wine, beer or soft drink. Plus, they offer theatre-style buttered popcorn, straight from the machine. 

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm sharp start. Get in early to find a comfy spot or grab yourself a beverage at the bar. 

 

Storytime

To entertain the kids this summer, Subiaco Library offers storytime sessions where children can enjoy listening to books in a group setting followed by a playtime or a take home colouring sheet.

Description

Storytime is a story telling session for pre-schoolers, followed by a play session or take home colour in sheet. During the school term, storytelling sessions for pre-schoolers are held on Tuesdays at 10.30am and repeated on Fridays at 10.30am. During school holidays, storytime is held on Fridays only at 10.30am. Please be sure to book a ticket for every person attending including children.

The Young Boxing Woman Project: Subiaco

Confidence building boxing classes and workshops for young women aged 15-24.
