Description
Denmark Arts runs two major festivals, Brave New Works community arts festival and the Denmark Festival of Voice as well as the very popular Denmark Arts Markets. Throughout the year we run a wide range of arts programs and projects as well as offering support to artists and community. We also provide art consultation within the region.
Our vision is to be a beacon of excellence in fostering regional community arts practice and providing an environment where creativity can flourish:
To provide a service initiating, encouraging, inspiring, promoting, valuing and supporting the development of a diverse range of arts and cultural activity within Denmark and the Great Southern.
To establish a creative arts hub centred within Denmark, which acts to nurture and inspire artistic exchange within and beyond the community.
To assist people in Denmark and surrounding areas to recognise and move towards their full creative potential as and communities.

Southern Edge Arts (SEA) is a membership based youth performance company that provides skills development to its members through workshops and projects led by professional artists.
We seek to encourage the expression of imagination and use the performing arts to add value to community events and gatherings through our community projects. Our performance troop CircaSEA has performed at many community events.
We offer a large workshop program that includes a variety of performing arts and each year develop a number of performance projects that bring members and professional artists together to make quality productions drawing on the skills and interests of both.
Our outreach program reaches across the Great Southern Region, and we can offer workshops individually tailored for your needs.

Vancouver Arts Centre is an active community arts centre and gallery and home to many local arts and craft groups.
Our key purpose is to develop the creative capacity of our region and we focus on supporting the practice of art-making through delivering a diverse and engaging artistic program that empowers our community and the cultural sector.
We run an annual program of touring, private and curated exhibitions, workshops, community arts projects and performing arts events, which aim to serve our existing customers and reach new audiences.
Our facilities are available to hire by individuals and groups for cultural activity.
Based in a historic building (the original hospital), our venue is special and unique and attracts visitors from outside the region to visit the gallery and enjoy a self-guided heritage tour.
Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm and Saturday 10am - 3pm.
