Description

A great lakeside location in the forest just a short drive from Perth and other major centres in the south-west.

Lake Brockman, Logue Brook Dam was constructed in 1963 to provide water for irrigation. It is now a popular place for camping and water activities such as water skiing, swimming, fishing, canoeing, windsurfing and sailing. You can also go bushwalking, and mountain biking.

The summer months and Easter are the park’s busiest time of year.

Getting there

Logue Brook Dam is located within the Shire of Harvey, 125km south of Perth between Yarloop and Harvey. Access is from the South Western Highway via the sealed Logue Brook Dam Road.

Camping

Logue Brook campground is a great family or group camping option and must be booked through the Lake Brockman Tourist Park.

Mountain biking

There are two pump tracks suitable for riders of all abilities and fitness levels at the Logue Brook campground and the Munda Biddi trail passes nearby.

Fishing

You must have a valid fishing licence, issued by the Department of Fisheries.

Boating

A five knot speed limit applies for all motorised water craft except when water skiing in the designated ski area and within the permitted time of sunrise to sunset. No water skiing is permitted within 45m of the shore and the boundary of the water ski area has been marked with yellow buoys.
