Marina is a Melbourne born, Alice Springs based painter and printmaker who has spent over two decades developing her art practice, and mentoring desert artists in remote Australia. Her work can be found in numerous private and public collections worldwide.
The body of work selected for this exhibition shows aspects of her full life: visits to the coast, music and daily life at home in the desert. Her painting ThreeTroopies - a reference to being ‘out bush’ - links her back to the two desert art centres where she has worked as
a mentor to the painters”
