Description

It’s been a massive couple of years for The Smith Street Band since the release of their fourth album ‘More Scared Of You Than You Are Of Me’. After debuting at #3 on the ARIA charts, the album saw 3 singles making JJJ Hottest 100, taking out #21 in both 2016 & 2017.

The band toured 2017 relentlessly, headlining their biggest tours to date in Australia, Europe & North America, selling out shows everywhere they went.

2018 saw the launch of the bands own festival ‘Pool House Party’, a massive hometown celebration at Coburg Velodrome which kicked off a 35 date tour of Australia which took in every state and territory of the country.

The latest album also saw new members joining the band with Lucy Wilson & Jess Locke joining in 2016 and Matt Bodiam in 2017, bringing The Smith Street Band to full force.

The second half of 2018 may have seemed the quietest in the bands career, but they’ve spent the last three months building their own fully off-grid recording studio in regional Victoria.

Which brings us to 2019, new music is coming. Catch the band on their ‘I Still Dream About You’ Australian Tour, hitting up Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Hobart & Perth.

Joining them are The Beth’s from New Zealand and Brisbane’s Sweater Curse
